Public Statement: Criminalizing Homelessness Will Not End It
The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH) urges all communities in Northeast Ohio to reject ordinances that criminalize homelessness. Measures recently proposed in Rocky River, Canton, and Lorain penalize people for sleeping, resting, or existing in public spaces. This does not reduce homelessness; it only makes it worse.
NEOCH Invites Community to 8th Annual NEOCH-toberfest Fundraiser
The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH) invites the community to act in solidarity at NEOCH-toberfest, its 8th annual fall fundraiser on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 7–10 PM at St. Edward High School in Lakewood.
The evening will feature food, drinks, raffles, auction prizes, and music – all while fueling NEOCH’s mission to end homelessness.
