Navigation Center Operations Manager
The Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role in creating a safe, welcoming, and effective environment where individuals experiencing homelessness can access shelter, stabilization, and pathways to permanent housing. This position oversees the Navigation Center’s facility operations, safety protocols, staff and volunteer engagement, and operational systems that ensure high-quality, person-centered services for guests.
The Operations Manager supervises monitoring staff, coordinates daily center operations, basic needs, and oversees volunteer and donation activities. The role also leads training and coaching efforts to ensure staff and volunteers consistently deliver services that align with NEOCH's values of dignity, equity, accountability, and housing-focused care. NEOCH Summer Internship
Students and non-students are welcome to apply for a summer internship with NEOCH. We are committed to building relationships with young people to help them develop an understanding of the root causes of homelessness and to build meaningful skills in community organizing, advocacy, writing, fundraising, graphic design, research, and more.
NEOCH is seeking interns who are available for at least 12 weeks between the months of May-September for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Interns joined the NEOCH team and were able to take part in NEOCH’s four-pillar approach to ending homelessness: Street Outreach, Education, Advocacy, and Organizing. Our Intern program is designed to educate through hands-on experiences and direct action.
During the Intern Program, interns were able to:
Shadow our Street Outreach and canvassing
Take part in our Advocacy and Organizing meetings
Educate our community
Take part in webinars and workshops from program leaders and learn about homelessness directly from people who were/are unhoused
Organize their own direct action to help our Cleveland community
