Navigation Center Monitor
Center Monitors will play a key role in the operation of NEOCH’s Shelter program. They will support guests, create and maintain safe and clean shelter, monitor the shelter space, assist with meals and basic needs, and help create a trauma-informed, welcoming environment. Monitors are essential to ensuring safety, cleanliness, consistency, and dignity for guests for the duration of the guests’ stays.
Navigation Center Program Manager
The Program Manager supervises the Center’s Housing Navigator(s), develops and provides intake assessments, crisis intervention, linkage to resources, and exits to positive housing outcomes. They work collaboratively and seamlessly with the Center’s Operations Manager. This role is part of the Center Management Team and is critical to the Center and efforts to end homelessness in our community.
Navigation Center Housing Navigator
The Housing Navigator will provide the Center’s supportive services in effort to ensure homelessness is brief, rare, and non-recurring. The Center’s Housing Navigator(s) provides intake assessments, crisis intervention, linkage to resources, with ultimate goal of exiting people into positive housing outcomes.
NEOCH Summer Internship
Students and non-students are welcome to apply for a summer internship with NEOCH. We are committed to building relationships with young people to help them develop an understanding of the root causes of homelessness and to build meaningful skills in community organizing, advocacy, writing, fundraising, graphic design, research, and more.
NEOCH is seeking interns who are available for at least 12 weeks between the months of May-September for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Interns joined the NEOCH team and were able to take part in NEOCH’s four-pillar approach to ending homelessness: Street Outreach, Education, Advocacy, and Organizing. Our Intern program is designed to educate through hands-on experiences and direct action.
During the Intern Program, interns were able to:
Shadow our Street Outreach and canvassing
Take part in our Advocacy and Organizing meetings
Educate our community
Take part in webinars and workshops from program leaders and learn about homelessness directly from people who were/are unhoused
Organize their own direct action to help our Cleveland community
