Welcome to Team NEOCH, Kait!
We are so excited to welcome Kait McNeeley to our team here at NEOCH. Kait is currently our Deputy Director and will be responsible for overseeing outreach teams, developing outreach strategies, and fostering partnerships with community organizations to address the needs of unhoused people.
Housing Justice 101 Workshop
We are thrilled to kick off our Housing Justice 101 Workshop, taking place virtually on Thursday, May 16th at 3 PM.
During the workshop, we will cover various topics such as the underlying reasons for homelessness, fair housing practices, addressing criminal backgrounds in screenings, and strategies for tenant organizing.

As the organization grows, we are seeking expertise in Human Resources, Non-profit Law, and Public Policy. More importantly, we are also seeking people who bring the expertise of lived experience to the organization and have a desire to work to end homelessness in our community.

UREB AND SUPPORTERS PROTEST AT WRLC BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER
On the morning of Friday, May 19th NEOCH staff and the United Residents of Euclid Beach tenants’ union gathered at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy’s (WRLC) breakfast fundraiser in Moreland Hills to protest the WRLC’s decision to close the Euclid Beach Mobile Home Park and displace over 100 Euclid Beach residents in September 2024.
