TMEH Community Coordinator
The Tierra Marie Empowerment House (TMEH) Community Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the success of our short-term crisis housing for transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) community members experiencing homelessness. This position combines hands-on daily operations with compassionate leadership, ensuring the house is safe, welcoming, and affirming for all residents. The Community Coordinator assists with the logistics and overall culture setting of the community, helping the house to live into shared values and commitments through resident responsibilities, community meals, and house meetings. They ensure that the house supports independence and movement towards permanent housing for the residents, while facilitating community engagement with volunteers.

Seasonal Shelter Manager
The Seasonal Shelter Manager will supervise evening and overnight shelter staff, coordinate nightly operations and data entry, oversee volunteer meal deliveries and shift support, and help ensure guests receive high-quality, person-centered services. The role also includes facilitating trainings for both volunteers and seasonal team members to promote consistency, safety, and strong alignment with NEOCH’s mission.
Following the shelter season, the position transitions into Building Manager, responsible for maintenance, logistics, and off-season facility coordination.

Seasonal Shelter Monitor
Shelter Monitors will play a key role in the overnight operation of NEOCH’s 2025-2026 Seasonal Shelter program. They will support guests, monitor the shelter space, assist with meals and basic needs, and help create a trauma-informed, welcoming environment. Monitors are essential to ensuring safety, consistency, and dignity for guests each night the shelter is open.
