Alpha Supreme

There's a feeling shared today.
By the people whose freedom has been taken away.
As in the past, when times were wrong.
The common folks come together in song.
"How will we win, with what will we fight?"
"I hope with this message our world we will unite."

Alpha and Omega the first and the last.
Our people are no longer bounded by chains as it was in the past.
When your lives are in jeopardy, who's to say.
That an angel from above will help us if we pray.
Faith in Christ, for he is our King.
And along follows eternal life, do you know what I mean?

Let not your heart be troubled, 'cause slavery is in the past.
We all know from experience that a bad thing don't last.
As for me, I'll be happy and content until the day he comes back.
I believe with all my heart that it's a blessing to be BLACK.
