staff partnered with professional photographer Mychal Lilly to train eight
homeless individuals the art of photography.

three Teach Ins that focused on voting rights, children and health care.

Voices did 38 presentations to schools, faith based groups and organizations to
dispel stereotypes about homelessness.

organized outreach workers to exchange detailed maps of the locations of those
resistant to shelter and in need of help.

successfully transferred both programs to other non-profit organizations.

successfully negotiated a compromise among food providers downtown to a new
location without legislation.

helped over 1,500 homeless people to vote in the 2008 Presidential election.

issued a health care report, a State of Homelessness report that made
recommendations on ending homelessness.
