December 3, 2007 We have just added a new report to the website. Read the State of Family Homelessness in Cleveland.
We have also added a new page to our site, including the Heading Home report and Implementation Plan by the City of Cleveland Cuyahoga County.

November 5, 2007 The 2007 Street Card can now be found on our website. NEOCH's Street Card is published annually as a resource of services that are available in the community.
September 24, 2007 You can now find articles from Homeless Grapevine issues 80 and 81. Visit our Grapevine Archives page to find these issues and many others from the street newspaper.
The Bridging the Gap program is currently taking applications for the position of Housing Placement Manager. Click here to read the announcement.
The 2008 Homeless Stand Down kickoff will be Saturday, October 27 from 1-3 p.m. at the Calvary Presbyterian Church on E. 79th St. The Stand Down is an annual cooperative effort between NEOCH and InterAct Cleveland that serves over 1,000 homeless individuals. We have also posted the latest edition of the Bridging the Gap newsletter, "The Welcome Mat." Click the link to view the publication.
September 5, 2007 We have two new pages of information added to our website. Both can be found under the Civil Rights section on our Solutions and Strategies page. One link provides a list of Shelter Standards proposed by the Homeless Congress for all shelters operating in Cleveland. The other document addresses the question "How did Cleveland get so many sleeping downtown?" and how we can work to alleviate this problem.
August 28, 2007 We have just added many new events for 2007 to our Calendar of Events page. Upcoming events are also listed on our "Save the Dates" flyer, which you can download and/or print as a reminder. Please check back at our Calendar page to stay informed with what's going on.
August 13, 2007 We have just completed the new design to the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless' website. We hope you enjoy the new look, and please continue to support our efforts in the community!
June 5, 2007 We have just added a job posting to the site. NEOCH is looking to bring in an Advocacy Program Director to oversee all of the Coalition's public policy and advocacy campaigns. Click here to view the posting. Please apply by June 21st.

February 7, 2007 You can now access NEOCH's 2005 Annual Report on our website. The file is in pdf format, so you may need to download the free Adobe Reader to view it.
January 31, 2007 We have just added a new document to our Solutions & Strategies page, addressing the problems that the City will face in the near future with regards to homelessness.
Also, there will be a fundraiser held at Johnny Mango World Cafe & Bar on Monday, February 12th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. 20% of the proceeds from each meal served will go to benefit the Bridging the Gap program. Please download the flyer here and present it to your server that night.

We have also added more articles to our Homeless Grapevine archives as part of an ongoing effort to make all of our issues accessible on the web. The most recent postings can be found in Issues 6 and 27.
January 18, 2007 In the new year, we have made several updates to our website.
The Bridging the Gap program will be hiring a new Housing Placement Manager. Find more information on the position here. The deadline for applications is February 1st.
Also, NEOCH still has an opening for an AmeriCorps*VISTA. Click here to find more information about becoming a VISTA at NEOCH or visit the AmeriCorps*VISTA website to learn more about the AmeriCorps program.
You will also notice a new listing under NEOCH Programs in the sidebar. We have added a new page to our site dedicated to Homeless Children, where we will post resources to aid homeless families and children. We have already begun this effort by adding a list of liaisons in area schools and their contact information. More updates to come.
We have also added a list of those remembered at the 20th Annual Homeless Memorial Day Candlelight Vigil 2006. Among those who participated in the inter-religious service was Mayor Frank Jackson - the first Cleveland Mayor to attend the event in 20 years.
Also new to our site is the 2007 Intake schedule for those seeking assistance through the Cleveland Homeless Legal Assistance Program.
