The 20th Annual Homeless Memorial Day took place on December 21, 2006 to remember all of those who have suffered and died as a result of homelessness in the past year. Joining other communities throughout the country, over 100 people were in attendance at the Vigil in Cleveland, which was held at Franklin Circle Church (Disciples of Christ).

The Vigil included an inter-religious ceremony and a reflection by Mayor Frank Jackson. Mayor Jackson is the first Cleveland Mayor to speak at the vigil in its 20-year history. The following list of names were read as those who we wish to remember.
